Most of the bags sold in the Chinese market come from four major bag production bases, located in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Baigou Town in Hebei and Nantai Town in Liaoning.
01. Guangdong Province
China's largest bag production base is Guangdong Province, and the bag industry is mainly distributed in Huadu District, Guangzhou, Panyu District, Guangzhou, and other districts in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The Guangdong bag industry cluster is also known for its complete industrial chain. 02. Zhejiang Province
The second largest bag production base is in Zhejiang Province. Zhejiang is the second largest leather bag production province, accounting for a quarter of the total leather bag production in the country. The leather industry is one of the traditional industries in Zhejiang, characterized by low processing costs and fine workmanship. 03. Gaobeidian, Hebei
Baigou Town, which is under the jurisdiction of Gaobeidian, Hebei, is located in the hinterland of the Beijing-Tianjin-Baoding triangle. It is the third largest luggage production and sales base in the country. Luggage products reach 20 categories and more than 100 varieties. 15 large-scale enterprises and more than 3,000 individual processing enterprises have formed an annual production capacity of 1.5 billion luggage, and the production and sales volume accounts for about one-fifth of the country.
04. Nantai Town, Liaoning
Nantai Town, Haicheng, Liaoning, is the largest luggage distribution center in Northeast China. It is located between Shenhai Expressway and Shenda Railway, with convenient transportation and extending in all directions. There are nearly 20 luggage-related enterprises in the town, including luggage processing, hardware accessories, auxiliary material processing, plate making and printing.
The Nantai Luggage Market covers an area of 30,000 square meters and has more than 20 stalls operating more than 30 kinds of high, medium and low-bar luggage. In addition to being sold to some provinces and regions in China, the products are also exported to Russia, South Africa, Romania and some countries and regions in Southeast Asia.
