Xiqiao Town, Foshan: China's base for maternal and infant hygiene products

Since Foshan Qisheng Sanitary Products Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Yusheng Personal Care Products Co., Ltd. settled in Xiqiao, Nanhai in 2012 and 2013, the scale of the sanitary products industry in Xiqiao Town has continued to expand. Currently, there are more than 30 maternal and infant hygiene products companies in Xiqiao Town, covering the entire industrial chain including production, packaging materials, and equipment manufacturing. In early March, Xiqiao also established a sanitary products industry association. On June 20, 2017, Nanhai Xiqiao was rated as "China's Maternal and Infant Hygiene Textile Demonstration Base" by the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association.

Overview of Xiqiao Town:

Xiqiao Town is affiliated to Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the southwest of Nanhai District, adjacent to Jiujiang Town in the east and Gaoming District and Sanshui District in the west. The total area under its jurisdiction is 176.63 square kilometers. As of 2024, Xiqiao Town has a permanent population of nearly 300,000, including 177,700 registered residents. Xiqiao Town is located in the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta. It has more than 1,300 textile companies and more than 30,000 looms on this land, making it the second largest textile fabric production and sales base in China.
